
PASTOR CEDRIC CHAMBERS
Reverend Cedric D. Chambers is Pastor of the Mt Calvary Baptist Church in Denton, Texas, where he has served as Senior Pastor since 2013. Rev. Chambers accepted his call to preach the Gospel over 25 years ago. Pastor Chambers’ studies include being a graduate of L.G. Pinkston High School in Dallas, Texas and he attended Jarvis Christian College and Paul Quinn College before completing his studies at the D. Edwin Johnson Theological Institute in Dallas, Texas.
Pastor Chambers can be seen serving his community in various capacities. He serves as founder and President of Non-Profit Organizations Project Hope; geared towards community development and family enrichment and Save the Future, Inc., an organization that mentors at-risk youth. Pastor Chambers is also the President of the Denton And Vicinity Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, leading Ministers across Denton County. He can also be seen diligently serving as a board member of various NonProfit and City Government Boards.
Reverend Chambers has been happily married for thirty- one years to the former Tammye Bizzell and they are the proud parents of three daughters, three granddaughters and two grandsons.

Currently, First Lady Tammye leads the women’s ministry with passion and dedication. Her role involves organizing events, facilitating support groups, and providing mentorship to women of all ages. Her leadership style is inclusive and empowering, encouraging women to grow spiritually and personally.
